Master Your Mind ~ Master Your Life
I’ve spent my entire life asking one question:
What makes us become who we are?
Long before I understood neuroscience, psychology, or the wisdom traditions, I was a curious child trying to make sense of human behavior.
Growing up in a home shaped by trauma, I became fascinated by why people think the way they do, why they make the choices they make, and why some people seem able to overcome extraordinary hardship while others remain trapped by it.
That curiosity became a calling.
As a young adult, I planned to study political science with the goal of joining the FBI. I imagined a career devoted to understanding criminal behavior and the psychology behind human decision-making. Even then, I wasn’t simply interested in what people did—I wanted to understand why they did it.
Life, however, had another plan.
While pursuing a successful corporate career, I received a serious health diagnosis that changed everything.
For the first time, the questions I had spent years asking became deeply personal.
I wanted to understand not only what causes disease, but what creates healing. Why some people succumb to a diagnosis, while others overcome it. What was that inner mechanism?
Â
That search led me far beyond conventional medicine.
I immersed myself in the fields of natural health, neuroscience, stress physiology, positive psychology, consciousness science, ancient wisdom traditions, meditation, yoga, and mind-body medicine. I became captivated by one extraordinary realization:
The mind is far more powerful than any of us have ever been taught.
Our thoughts influence our biology.
Our beliefs shape our behaviors.
Our nervous systems can be trained.
Our brains remain adaptable throughout our lives.
And the way we direct our attention has the power to change how we experience the world.
That discovery transformed my life.
Eventually, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and dedicate my life to teaching what I had spent years learning.
Enlightened Living was born from that journey.
Today, my work brings together modern neuroscience, spiritual psychology, somatic practices, contemplative traditions, and timeless wisdom into practical tools that help people understand themselves more deeply and unlock the extraordinary potential of the human mind.
Because I don’t believe we are broken.
I believe most of us have simply never been taught how our minds actually work.
When we understand the relationship between our thoughts, our emotions, our nervous systems, and our patterns of behavior, we begin to reclaim something incredibly important:
Choice.
And with conscious choice comes the ability to create a different life.
Over the past two-and-a-half decades, I’ve had the privilege of studying with many of the world’s leading teachers in human potential, personal transformation, mind-body medicine, and conscious living.

When I decided to become a yoga instructor, I searched for the best to study with; my yoga teachers are direct descendants or disciples of Yoga masters. Swami Kriyananda, Kim Schwartz (Kriyananda), Gabriel Halpern (B.K.S. Iyengar), Patricia Walden (B.K.S. Iyengar), Gary Kraftsow (T.K.V. Desikachar).
A good teacher is a lifetime student, and I am honored by the continued influence of these amazing teachers.
As I began teaching, I witnessed students experience amazing healing, while others remained stuck or sick. This unleashed a deeper desire in me to learn more about the human form, its physiology, psychology, and spiritology. So began a decade-long education in natural health and mind/body medicine. In becoming a traditional Naturopath, there have been a handful of inspirational teachers I am honored to have studied with: Dr. Jonny Bowden, Ph.D, C.N.S.(author, nutritionist); Linda Page, Ph.D, (author, herbalist); Michael & Leslie Tierra (East West School of Herbal Medicine); David Winston R.H. (herbalist, Author): Rosemary Gladstar (herbalist); Elson Haas M.D. (physician, nutritionist, author). These are pioneers in the world of Natural and Holistic Health.
I became preoccupied with the emotional connection to disease. I knew, from witnessing others and from personal experience, that true healing must come from a deeper level of consciousness; otherwise it's just masking of symptoms. The next step for me was subconscious mind-mediated healing. Again, I sought out the experts in this field. Richard Bandler, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), and Gerald Kein, Hypnosis. Mary Morrissey, \\Transformational Life Coaching. Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, and Dr. Bruce Lipton ~ the science of Consciousness.

Enlightened Living was born from my own inward journey to discover wholeness in my health, and the deeper essence of who I am. It was created to allow me to share some of the tools, processes, and wisdom that I discovered along the way.

Every program, every certification, every mentor has contributed another piece to a lifelong pursuit of understanding what helps people heal, grow, and flourish.
But perhaps my greatest teacher has been life itself.
The challenges that once inspired my search have become the foundation of my work.
Today, my mission is simple:
To help people master their minds, reconnect with the wisdom within, and consciously create lives of greater health, resilience, purpose, and peace.
Because I believe an enlightened life isn’t something we’re given.
It’s something we create—one conscious thought, one intentional choice, and one moment of awareness at a time.
