What previous training or education do I need to become a hypnotherapist?

None. We train you in the foundations of hypnosis and hypnotherapy and its applications.  You will have a comprehensive training preparing you for a completely new career as a transformational expert.  

However, should you have a background in therapy, psychology, counseling, education, or the healing arts, this training will take your business or work to the next level of impact and income.   Your previous experience and education will add depth to this training.

How long does the training take and what is the commitment?

This training is six months long and requires 8 to 10 hours per week of study, research, reading, or practice.  There is live training each week where we meet via Zoom for one to two hours.  IACT has very exacting standards for the certification process and requires 200 hours of training.

40 of those hours are completed at the required certification retreat where we will meet in person at the end of the training.

Is Hypnotherapy a good career to enter into?

“I don’t think patients want to take years to feel better,” he writes. “They want to do it in weeks or months.” In Time Magazine, a therapist reports being told by a branding expert, “Nobody wants to buy therapy anymore. They want to buy a solution to a problem.”
